A story that does not expand!

jacki_leonard

The Surge game is in the future, where technology can cure problems like paralysis. We are in control of Warren, a person who is paralyzed and unable to move. Through CREO's advertising, he volunteered for a large simulation project that could give him the ability to move, but this does not go as Warren expects. During her experiment, she wanders in intelligence and when she wakes she sees herself in a smart outfit that she can move with, but in an unknown and full of robotic enemies! The Surge starts here. The Surge at the end is the same Lords of Fallen, which has only changed the skin and became a science fiction. The game has a great skill and enhancement system, its environments are designed for good exploration, but the biggest difficulty is that it does not have a unique spirit, and it's even superbly modelled on the Souls series. The game is unreasonably difficult and its fighting mechanisms are not well integrated and, ultimately, between the great flood of the celebrated games of these months, the Surge experience may not be a sensible option except for those who have experienced the Lords of Fallen and have had positive attitudes towards it.

just brilliant!!

russell2017

The intro was very immersive. i mean you really start the game confused but in a good way! don't wana spoil anything so i let you see for yourself! something extremely interesting and sooooo unique! the mechanics are cool, combats feels real and great which makes the fighting cool! in this game the "AI" unlike most action RPG games is really good! meaning you have to be more careful and do your job with a lot of planing and thoughts behind your actions! what can i say about the designs! its superb! i've seen some people compare this to batman! its nothing like that! (no offense to the batman fans) narrative and gameplays are perfectly stuck together and mixed up in the best way possible! one small problem i ran into was the stamina system which was a little annoying! The game isn't perfect, but i'm really shocked how much thought has been behind this game to make it a masterpiece(tried their best)! from the bottom of my heart i hope they make sequels and dlcs!

I love the game, setting, idea and difficulty level!

You surely heard of Dark Souls or are reading this because you played it and know find yourself thinking: "hmm heared The Surge is like Dark Souls". And you're on a good way. It is not as story rich or the world isn't as big but it has the same idea. I'd like to remember you guys: Deck 13 made Lords of the Fallen. LOTF isn't as big or story deep as DS but it is a great game. In its own way. So if you're still think yay or nay just ask yourself: did I enjoy LOTF? If the answer is yes, then go and get The Surge - you won't regret it. It is a Lord of the Fallen in a Sci Fi suit. I'm actually very happy with this game. The trailers and demo gameplays developers released a while ago attracted me but I was kind of skeptical, specially towards performance, but in the end it turned out very enjoyable, more than I thought it would be.

A recommended video game.

Rafitachihuahua

A good adventure of action and role, challenging, with exciting combats that surprise by its hardness. The Surge is a fun title that difficult to put things, always motivates you to go ahead, to try your luck "once more" Until you defeat the enemy! And without realizing it you'll spend hours exploring and fighting in a dark, terrible world, where death lurks everywhere.

Sci fi dark souls.

gmgtochuje

The Surge is second souls like game from Deck 13 and I must say I absolutely love the settings, dark fantasy was replaced with sci fi and it look fantastic, I mean the concept because visually this kind of environment has it drawbacks in case of reused assets which makes some rooms looks the same but apart from that game is great, combat is fluid and fun. Worth checking out.
