The first open world in the series, it’s what I am most excited about. I’m a huge fan of Borderlands and playing online alongside friends and tackling different missions whilst supporting your teammates. Ghost Recon achieves just that, minus the split screen, but we’re really spoilt when it comes to the games superb graphics and the sheer beauty of the map and world.

If you’re a fan of the Ghost Recon series or maybe Wildlands is new for you, it’s really worth jumping in just for the open world alone. Let alone the incredible line up of Ghosts, enemies, weaponry and the ability to customise and make the game your own.

Bring a friend for awesome and hilarious times

First up, I'm a long-time Ghost Recon series fan and have played pretty much all of them. The series has certainly changed over time, but that's not a bad thing. Wildlands is best played with friends though, and I would 100% recommend not playing this solo. You can, but it's pretty boring and you lose where most of the fun comes in. Attempting missions together is the best, and whether it goes smoothly as planned or absurd hijinks ensue (this happens often) this game is an open-world blast. The skill trees could use some more diversity, but the game is a solid mix between arcade and realism. Definitely buy with a buddy and have a blast.

Nothing special solo but with friends, a great time

I've put a decent chunk of hours into the game and so far from what I've played only an hour has been solo. This game is dull and boring with awful AI teammates when you're solo but the second you get even just another human to play with the game takes on a whole new aspect. From the hilarity of a gunfight gone bad, escaping Unidad patrols, or trying to run your fellow ghosts over with a car it really is worth the money.

Fun, Cant wait for updates

Wildlands delivers... and i cannot wait for FREE DLC as well as updates to the client.. Perhaps tighten up some Video drivers make it more efficient as even with a GTX1070 this game is demanding.. but .. all in all with some repetitive scenarios missions aside, the game delivers. And that is where i hope the updates can bring some more content to the table.

Good Game

This game isn't that bad and honestly I've been really enjoying it. The missions are somewhat repetitive, yes. It can get tiresome but I feel as like every approach is different. The main premise of the missions is usually snatch and grab however there isn't much way around it basing it off what would happen in a scenario as such. But the choices on how to deal with targets are fun. You can stealth it up or guns blazing or a little bit in between. The driving mechanics are a bit meh but I honestly didn't buy it expecting it to handle like Project Cars or anything like that so I'm honestly not dissapointed. The collisions between objects (since the beta) has improved significantly, you're no longer driving a 3 lb marshmellow around that floats down cliffs, cars feel like they have weight and although handles not the best, it feels nice. Flying is alright, nothing special. Helicopters: Hold down shift to a good height, hold w until it tilts down then bobs back up, let go of w and keep holding shift. Planes: Hold shift and ocasionally (besides landing and take-off) press w and s. Gunplay and customization are really outstanding here. You can change virtually everything about your gun and the amount of guns are very pleasing. The attatchments and guns aren't all given to you but you must gather intel in that region to find out where attatchments and different guns are located at. Characters also have a good deal of customization to make your character feel like they are "yours".

Wildlands is pretty "wild"

I've spent some hours on this game and I am really pleased with it. This is the first time Ghost Recon in 16 years has went open world and it's mind blowing. The reason why I don't have a perfect score up is because it's not a perfect game. The cover system and the Ai are the only reason for the lower score. 60+ weapons with full mod selection in the gunsmith. Character customization is better in this game then it is in Elder Scrolls Online. This game bleeds COOP so it's legit 1000x better with friends and that's not even a joke. Buy it! This is a ghost recon masterpiece!
