Game description

“Velocibox is one of a rare breed of games. Instead of trying to make itself more accessible, it challenges you from the get go—punishing those who aren’t good enough while rewarding those who master it with a supreme sense of satisfaction.” 9/10 – Games in Asia

“It’s the crown on the head of the genre and it sparkles as incandescently as the greats beside it” - PixelatedParadise

“Advancing through the levels requires patience and a great amount of concentration – and despite the thousands of tries, the game still remains fun, entertaining and extremely challenging.” - 212Fahrenheit

Velocibox is a twitch-heavy action game crafted for the hardcore audience.

  • Flip, spin and dodge your way through more than 70 deviously designed patterns.

Worth the challenge

Fast paced, challenging gameplay, and good graphics. I'm not good at it, but it was still fun to play. It's a simple concept but it keep you hooked for hours on end. I recommend this game a lot.

As simple as good

Velocibox is a game that comes with one of the simplest ideas you could ever come up with, a cube, sliding through a rectangular tunnel full of obstacles, with 2 ways to avoid obstacles: steering and flipping. The game so far is one of the hardest I ever played, never reached level 4 and probably never will (there are 9 total levels...) but even if you fail countless times, playing still is totally enjoyable and flipping the box makes your brain go crazy with directions: when you flip the box from "floor" to "ceiling", reversing everything, it takes quite some time (and countless fails) to get it accustomed to that. I personally like when things mess with my brain preconceptions. From a technical point of view the game is flawless: no bugs, best graphics they could come up with and perfectly suiting music. Another thing that is perfect is the price: 5€ as base price is what you would expect to pay without discounts for a game like that. So, to recap I'd recommend this game to everyone, not that everyone will ever even go further level 1, but the fact it messes your brain up is so good and interesting that it's worth trying at least for an hour or so. Not to mention that this runs flawlessly on linux too, much appreciated.

Very good!

This game is a very nice time killer. It is absolutely addicting with its simple controls. There are no difficult controls, hard to master gameplay elements, or anything else like it. All you have to do is not die, and keep going. You’re thinking, ‘Easy’, right? No. Its going to be a little difficult, especially when you keep dying. The graphics are good, and especially suited to its fast gameplay. The music is also good and suited. In other words, the game is worth the small price. So my advice will be to: buy it. Rated it: 9/10 , Pick-up-and-play game.
