A great game with lots of new ideas!

russel_vjd

Watch Dogs has a great gameplay with lots of opportunities and there are many ways ahead for you as a master hacker to progress through the game . Hacking is one of the key factors in its extensive gameplay . you can do almost anything in the game by hacking; taking money from ATMs, taking control of CCTV cameras and changing street lights are just examples of this huge process. In this game, hacking is doable just by pressing a button, but the hacking capabilities completely cover this problem as you can escape from the police, enter the houses, and even stop a train with the help of hacking. afterall you are the greatest hacker of the world! But the gameplay is not limited to just hacking , the shooting in the game is made like a standard third person shooter and you can not say it's flawed. The number of weapons in the game is quite acceptable and you have the ability to carry an unlimited number of weapons and also swapping between weapons is similar to Max Payne 3 and GTA V. This game is overall a very successful new title with lots of new ideas and i guess you should not compare it with GTA V, if you don't do that you will find it really amazing and impressive too.

Hackerstown

Watch dogs certainly had some problems but it really is a game that has the potential to have fun and entertain if it is what you are looking for Watch dog has a big variety in its open world counting on several main and secondary missions that count on stopping robberies, stopping drug traffickers and finding other hackers One of his points finds is driving since he suffers; Sometimes cars can maneuver by themselves to your left or right thing that is not totally comfortable One of his favor points can be his virtual trips counting as very entertaining minigames Undoubtedly despite his setbacks he has a concept that is slightly well-worn with a tree of abilities that favor when escaping or entertain to catch someone, Skills such as, Causing a blackout to hide, Activate bumps to not allow the passage of cars and to change traffic lights so that the artificial intelligence goes against the one that is escaping from you You can certainly buy watch dogs but it is more recommended when it is on sale, is it worth it? Maybe!

Watchdogs, the instant classic

Jack2Shepard

Watchdogs is a quick thinking shooter game. Not only do you shoot your enemy but this is one of few games where you hack rather than just mindlessly shoot your attackers. The reputation system is good but a little troublesome when someone reckless plays on your account. The game has a rich storyline and good freeplay but the one downfall to this game is that traffic immediately stops for Aiden. The hacking provides something unique not very common nowadays. So I call this masterpiece a classic and I hope all who read this find is amazing.

this is a game worth buying on sale if you enjoy other Ubisoft titles like Assassin's Creed, Tom Clancy's, etc.

I bought Watch_Dogs a couple years ago and at the time, I wasn't impressed. Then a week ago today I reinstalled it and decided to give it another go. I am happy to share with you that I have finished the game and give it a solid 7/10. Pros: Cool hacking features; massive car crashes, nice variety of vehicles, Gang Hangouts are awesome! Better than average AI. Playing this on a GTX 1080 with all settings at Ultra is a real treat. Cons: Meh story and the hero Aiden Pierce is as bland as oatmeal. Wardrobe could have been better. Chicago neighborhoods are not faithfully recreated and that is a bit of a bummer. Downtown is better but the outlying areas outside of Lake Shore Drive are confusing as hell to navigate - and I have lived here all my life!

Great concepts, bad execution

TakethatNoob

Watch dogs is a game with lots of great ideas that could've made for a solid game, but ends up falling into the generic Ubisoft tropes and half-baked products. These include: going to a place to "expand the map," "liberations" of data-servers, tinny gunshots, bouncy cars and lifeless cities. Ubisoft also really dropped the ball on delivering the graphical fidelity during their presentations and instead brought huge optimization issues and lackluster visuals. Ubisoft has made me wary in the past, and since buying this on release this game has only reinforce my caution to stay away from them.
