Last week we held a competition for one lucky gamer to get their hands on two super passes for EGX 2017. We have had some amazing entries, and now its time to finally reveal the winner.
Entrants were tasked to answer one simple question. “Tell us why we should send you to EGX 2017?” We encouraged you to be as creative as you like and some of the answers we got were nothing short of brilliant, but sadly there can only be one winner.
The winning answer is….
“Because I need to get my fix of queuing! As a true Brit I love queuing, whether it be for a portaloo at a festival or at the checkout at Aldi I just love. So EGX combines my two favourite things, computer games and a crap load of queuing to play them! Please help make my year & stand for hours to play my favourite games, thank you.”

“I need to get away from being an adult. I love playing games but I don’t get the time to play them these days. Most of my days and evenings are taken up being an adult, be it being a father, boyfriend and social worker. Sometimes you just need to chill and play some games. I also know oddworld inhabitants and rare are going to be there, is old gamer needs to play their games”
“because Im 35 and I have only just completed Super Mario Bros, I believe I’m now ready for my next challenge. I understand there was a sequel and Im looking forward to seeing this! xD”
“Because me & my boyfriend have a 2 year old son who doesn’t let us play the game anymore lol, I play GTA & he stands in front of my telly…… I know I know he shouldn’t be wat hung me play an 18+ game but he loves watching the cars… Yes yes obsessed with cars hence being stood in front of my screen so my car just looks like a childs head from where I’m sat 😂 so 3-4 days of gaming and seeing new releases would be awesome!!”

[Narrator 1 *Epic Trailer Voice*]: Anyway, two guys, one convention and only one way to get there! [Narrator 2 *Squeaky Voice*]: (Again from a distance) By entering the competition and hoping they can win. [Narrator 1 *Epic Trailer Voice*]: So yeah, Thats why you should send those tickets our way! [Narrator 2 *Squeaky Voice*]: Because it would be our first time going to any kind of gaming convention and then we would have an amazing time and create loving memories together that we could then tell our children! And then someday, they too might attend a convention like EGX and relive our lives! And as we live there on our death bed we will remember our time at EGX and then we can die a peaceful death! [Narrator 1 *Epic Trailer Voice*]: Well that took a dark turn…. (So we couldn’t think of a real reason why we should get the tickets but we hope you enjoyed our random silly little script and consider send us the two super-dooper Super passes!
