It honestly feels impossible to believe that we’re already knocking on the door of April. 2021 is both the fastest and the slowest year known to human history, and it’s been a year filled with gaming news.
Here’s all the top stories from the last two weeks that you can’t afford to miss in our latest Green Man Gaming News Roundup.
Cyberpunk 2077’s 1.2 Patch Has a Tonne of Fixes
CD Projekt Red appear to be making good on their promises to fix some of the issues present in Cyberpunk 2077 with patch 1.2. This patch includes 505 different fixes, with many related to issues that would block progression, cause NPCs to act weirdly, and sadly for many Youtubers – no more T-posing. The patch is live now, meaning it’s the perfect time to dive back into Night City.
Netflix’s Witcher Season 2 may Feature the Wild Hunt
The Netflix adaptation of The Witcher surprised us all, mainly by being actually good. The second series is currently being filmed and eagle-eyed Witcher fans over at Redanian Intelligence have got their hands on some pics of what appears to be the Wild Hunt. We don’t have any more details just yet, and how exactly these Elvish inter-dimensional hunters will feature in the story has yet to be seen.
STALKER 2 Shows off Tooth Technology
A GSC Game World dev diary posted over on IGN has given us a look at some of the weapon and character models we’ll be seeing in the long-anticipated S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2. What’s most impressive is that the game will feature unique teeth for every character in the game. As GSC Game World PR Zakahr Bocharov says, “Literally every human in STALKER 2 has one-of-a-kind smile.”

New Gameplay Trailer drops for Biomutant
Biomutant swiftly approaches release on the 25th of May and with a new trailer focusing on the combat, we get to see a little more of what makes Biomutant tick. It looks like developers Experiment 101 have nailed the action part of action-RPG, with combat that looks fast, brutal, and exciting. This post-apocalyptic open-world action-RPG looks like it’s going to be something rather special, and we can’t wait to get our hands on it.
Disco Elysium Clothing and Final Cut Launch
We all knew that Disco Elysium, the expansive exploration of what’s possible in a game narrative, was getting a Final Cut upgrade adding new areas, animation, quests, and voice acting. That update released on the 30th of March, but what we weren’t expecting was a new Disco Elysium-inspired clothing line from the developer’s clothing brand ZA/AM Atelier. A surprise, but a rather dashing one.
