New Pokémon Snap is a Pokémaniac’s dream. In the game, you’ll get to jet off to the Lental archipelago to help Professor Mirror with their research. How are you going to help them? You’ll be taking pictures of Pokémon in their natural environment, seeing these creatures living out in the wild. This means you’ll get to see Pokémon behaving in ways you’ve never seen before, bringing Pokémon to life right before your eyes.
That’s not to say you’ll just be a passive observer on your research-laden travels, you’ll get to feed Pokémon, interact with the environment with a variety of research tools, or delve into the unique Illumina phenomenon to see new, strange effects take place.
But what it’s really all about in this brand-new entry in the Pokémon Snap (22 years after the original game on Nintendo 64) series is the Pokémon. Let’s delve into some of the creatures we can expect to see in New Pokémon Snap, and try to answer some of the questions you might have about the game.
