The studio has tried to bring new ideas in Trials of the Blood Dragon, a trivial version of the original series. But the result is nothing interesting. No matter how fun is the motorcycle riding and designing the environment is well designed, other parts of the game are not at all fun and waste half of your time. There will not be more than 1 to 2 hours to complete the game, and the rest of the game should be spent on various breakdowns. So no, this game is not worth buying, and it's best to wait for it until different discounts. Pros: Interesting environment design Attractive motorcycling section Cons: Very bad control in the slider sector Very bad control in jet pack Half the game is futile
Trials + Blood dragon Is a 2.5D Side Scroller, Biking, Action, Adventure, 2D Shooter game, There is no actual story in the game, The gameplay is similar to previous Trials games but with off bike levels where you need to shoot and jump, etc, graphics are great and level design is good, Recommended for all trials fans.
Trials of the Blood Dragon is definitely not a "trials" game First, off, there are actually very few trial levels in the game. The physics in the game is very wonky, it is apparent when you shoot, grapple, or even jetpack in levels. Secondly, the game is extremely short! Compared to Trials Fusion, Trials of the Blood Dragons feels as if it only has a quarter of the content. There is no track central, no challenges to complete, no skill minigames, no multiplayer and more. If anything, it?s really more of a platformer game than a trials game. By combing two franchise, they've really left the uniqueness of both franchisees behind.
Trials of the Blood Dragon is a spin-off of the famous Trials series. You're still driving a motorbike (Among other vehicles) through the levels but this time the game takes place in a true adventure. It's the Fourth Vietnam War and You must save the day. Like Far Cry : Blood Dragons, the game uses an art style inspired by the 80's. The Neons, bright colors and the music give this unique vibe to the game atmosphere. It's very different from the original Trials games, but it's insanely fun.
Trials of the Blood Dragon combines the gameplay of the Trails series with the humorous story and art design of the Far Cry spin off Far Cry Blood Dragon. Like the Trials series, the gameplay mostly involves you just getting from point A to B. There are different kinds of vehicles that are each going to handle in differently such as bikes, mine carts, tanks, etc. The bad parts of the game are where it strays away from the gameplay of Trials and has you on foot and firing a gun or grappling hook in what are usually dull sections, at at least much less interesting than the parts with vehicles, that just don't control as well. There are 27 levels and the game will only take you a few hours, with the incentive to replay levels being to get a higher ranking and a better spot on the online leaderboards, and to complete hidden challenges. The game has a good visual style and is quite enjoyable when it is add its best but certain sections just feel like missed opportunities when compared to the rest of the game. Worth a look if you are interested in the visual style don't mind playing through some dull content to get to the better stuff, otherwise you should wait for a sale.
