A Guide to the Best Tera Classes – Choosing How to Fight in This Free-to-Play MMORPG
Jumping into an MMORPG is an exciting and nerve-wracking experience. Sometimes you just need someone to point you in the right direction. With Tera, one of the most important choices is the Tera class. While all of the classes bring something to the table, the best ones for someone new to the game are usually the DPS classes as support can be trickier to get to grips with. So read on to see which is the best class for you in Tera.
Archer
The Archer class might not be an obvious choice but it gives a lot of versatility that some of the other classes lack. Plus, being out of the action means you don’t have to worry quite as much as the other classes about health management. As an Archer you have a large array of traps and tools so you always have something, whatever trouble you may find yourself in. The class is fun to use at low levels and becomes increasingly showy as you become more powerful; it is one of the most fun Tera online classes.
Berserker
The Berserker is the physical monster of the roster. Wearing heavy armour and wielding an axe, the Berserker strides into battles fearlessly splitting anything in its path. The power of this class lies in its ability to generate MP as it moves from target to target. Being a rabid aggro machine is the point of the class, and it’ll reward you for ploughing through any and every enemy you face. Simply start dishing out punishment, and laugh as you get stronger and stronger: that’s what makes this one of the best Tera classes.
Valkyrie
The Valkyries form a flashy damage-dealing class which is defined by the marks they literally leave on their enemies. They dance around enemies with fast attacks and showy spinning moves. Every critical hit brands an opponent and seals their fate. It is a great class to just show off with, the combos are a huge amount of fun and the ability to leave runes means that even a couple of hits on a monster can be enough to down them. There’s a good reason they are part of this Tera class guide.
Brawler
The Brawler is a good defensive class, despite what the giant fists might suggest. They have heavy armour and can even block attacks, which lets them go toe-to-toe with nearly everything in game. The ability to counter attacks and high focus on racking up a combo makes for a lot of fun, plus you get the joy of using just your hands and feet to pummel everything that looks at you. They build up rage as they fight, which is unleashed in spectacular special moves, and that’s why they’re one of the best Tera classes.
Ninja
Granted, the rest of the Tera classes in this guide are all easy to use, but who can say no to a Ninja? Everyone loves ninjas. Rather than being a powerhouse, the Ninja is all about careful strategy and misdirection. There are a lot of hit-and-run attacks in their arsenal that allow them to build up the Chi in order to release huge fire attacks. It isn’t so much that they are simple, just that they are a huge amount of fun.
