This gives a good addition to the game, adding new scenarios, maps, and units. Me and a friend like to act out wars against one another from history or possible future bouts, adding time limits leading up to the end date of the war between those two nations to add some reality or more strategy to the game. It turns out really fun that way, giving only two or 3 rulers to choose from to play as. The time constraint adds another element to the game, usually always resulting in no nation being whipped out, but it does happen some times. This Korean one adds to that fun, so if you ever get bored with the game go ahead and find a friend to pit two warring nations against one another and try to take on the persona of the person you are playing as. The price of this DLC seems ok for what it adds, as it does add more than just one or two things, however I still feel like these small DLCs for the game can be a little over priced. This one falls within the constraints for a $5 price mark, so if you do plan on getting DLC for this game, this is one of the ones you need to get.
The Civilization and Scenario Pack for Korea for Civilization V is a strong and interesting civilization, especially for science victories with a small number of cities or even a single city due to the science bonus from building wonders in the capital. The music for this civilization is very good and the scenario is an interesting look at japan's invasion of Korea.
This is nice for players looking for a change of pace in the base game. By change of pace: I mean new maps, scenarios, and units. Heck, you might even like the soundtrack too. Unlike most of the other dlcs: this feels like it was worked on and is well worth it's price tag. A nice buy, for those hungry for more Civilization.
Korea is my favourite eastern civilization to play. It has a great series of unique units for combat, the scenario is tons of fun yet difficult to play and the level design is outstanding as always. This pack is worth a purchase, especially if you want more variety and would love to try an new Asia civilization brimming with talent.
The Civilization and Scenario Pack for Korea for Civilization V is a great addition to your Civilization library. Filled with awesome new scenarios, interesting map/level designs, and great voice-work and soundtrack, this add-on is a blast to play. If you want more content for Civilization V, this is the pack for you.
