This MMO is not a run of the mill MMO nor is it Skyrim online. I like that you can play it your way. You do not have to have alts to get the full experience. If your build is not working, you can change it; no need to delete and roll another character. The game offers a lot of fun; not just a grind fest. It is great for social players and still offers a lot for mavericks. I think that the PvP is the best among any game and the exploration is itself is fun and immersive. The only drawback is that while there is so much to do, there is a lot of stuff that WoW has built in over the years that is not yet in ESO, such as holiday events or tons of dungeons/raids.

This game really has taken a turn for the better. It's an extremely solid mmo. The thing I really like about ESO is how put together it is compared to other MMOs it doesn't feel cheap and just made to make money, When zemimax online made this they wanted people to enjoy it. The quests are very memorable and I actually care about care about the people I'm helping, like I'm actually making a difference in the world. The classes are extremely flexible, so you could play a tanking night blade with a great-sword and still be extremely viable the game feels like it encourages creativity in builds. Overall ESO is a great MMO if you're new to MMOs or a veteran.

I tried this game first when it was still in beta in early 2014 and it was quite a tedious attempt at making Skyrim lookalike in online environment. Most people that pre-ordered the game really regretted it and it ended up losing a huge number of customers within months. Luckily, the devs decided to switch to b2p model and rework the game from scratch, reintroducing it as a new title. And boy, did it work! This is such a different title from what I played last year, let me describe the details in point form: 1) the gameplay is really unique - awesome character progression with unlimited variations for your build, including acquiring special skills all of which have to be practiced to grow them in power. Not to mention that this is one of the few twitch based games, meaning that you have to aim and shoot accurately and not just button mash. 2) the graphics are closer to Morrowind than to Skyrim, but this also means the game runs good on older computers. It's definitely not as forgiving as WoW, but you'll get good framerates even on older gaming laptops. To top it off, the special effects are really good looking and during huge PVP fights you'll love watching the magic of fireworks flying in all directions. 3) sound and music are great, maybe not as epic as Skyrim, but on part with other Elder Scroll games and better than most other MMORPGs 4) Community is pretty good and the fact that you have to join a guild in order to trade resources and make money is a good addition as well. There are obviously some bad sheep out there, but overall, it's a more mature community than other games. 5) PVP is a hit or miss - it's very large scale and you do need to get good at it as the combat is twitch based, but it's rewarding and fun if you have a good group. Sieges are epic too. Overall: Great title, especially if you can get it on sale. No monthly fee means you can definitely enjoy it for a long time.

I've waited quite a while to pick up The Elder Scrolls Online, and I'm glad I did. Many of the patches that has been released since the game came out has help this game become something more than your typical MMORPG. The game runs incredibly smooth on my GTX 970. I can get at least 60fps when I'm outside of cities and towns, only dipping to 45fps when I venture inside. The voice acting and story are quite interesting, with different branching parts based on your choices. The character customizing are appealing yet the most wonderful option is that your race and class does not limit on how you want to play. If you want to be a sword-wielding Sorcerer or a staff-wielding Nightblade, then you can be just that. As someone who tried out a lot of MMO over the years. Ranging from WoW, to Tera Online. This is one of the best ones on the market right now.

I feel like this is the game I have been waiting for. Since the recent update of Tamriel Unlimited, that is- Anyways, it has the great fantasy art style that Elder scrolls games are famous for, and all the characters and enemies are very well made and animated. Also, I love their personalities. They have a quality you usually don't see outside of singleplayer RPG games. As an MMORPG, it's really a perfected version of other games in my opinion. There is good crafting, good dungeons, good trading, good community, and lots of good player interaction. There aren't that many new ideas but they put the old ones together very well. Good game
