The season pass for Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel lacks a lot of the story content that made the Borderlands 2 season pass so great. The DLC offered for this game is 2 additional characters, a story mission, and a slaughterdome. That's it. The content isn't bad by any means, but you can't help but feel like they could've done a lot more.
Asking $30 for a season pass is not something new to any video gamer out there. Asking $30 and not delivering on the content promised is. Borderlands 2 was the best season pass I have ever purchased in my video game life. It was overflowing with content. This however took advantage of that and decided to capitalize on it. So what do you get for your hard earned money? Let me tell you straight: - A circle of slaughter (1/4 of your pass) - A Handsome Jack character (1/4 of your pass) - A Baroness character (1/4 of your pass) - A new story based on Claptrap (1/4 of your pass) Not the worst pass, but when compared to its predecessor, it looks like garbage. Only buy this if you are a fan of Borderlands. Basically they tell you you are saving $10, but in reality you are not. The slaughter dome should have been free. The only thing here worth your time is the new story which offers new legendary gear, new characters, new environments, new weapon types, and new laughs. The characters are nice...and overpowered. And the slaughter dome is a joke. Again only buy this if you liked the game, and the series as a whole. And if you like claptrap.
