The trilogy continues as the Prince of Darkness rises again.
September 1920, the Vatican appoints Father Arno Moriani, the "Devil's Advocate", to investigate a potential candidate for Sainthood in Transylvania. But in the shadows of the disturbing ruins that were once Vlad the Impaler's castle, his investigation takes an unexpected turn...
There is obviously no such thing as vampires... at least according to the official line of the Catholic Church. But how can you be so sure, standing in the swirling mists of Transylvania? Carry out your investigation amidst tales of bloody deeds and ancestral fears.
High Definition graphics and movies with full panoramic views to see every unnerving detail
Unlocking puzzles will require a test of your skills across sight, sound and taste (the taste of blood that is)
Special hidden bonuses lurk in the darkness but well worth the reward if you dare to solve it
Moody music, fear-inducing darkness and environments, an investigation that proves the further you dig, the deeper you sink into this diabolical occult adventure
Dracula 3 is the third act of the trilogy debuted with Resurection. But there are no Jonathan Harker, or Van Helsing or other famous characters from Bram Stoker's novel here. On the contrary, Dracula 3 focused on the historical side of Dracula's story. You are Father Arno Moriani and were sent by the Vatican to investigate the case of Martha Calugarul, a doctor who just died in her romanian village of Vladoviste. The Church would like to canonised Miss Calugarul but before doing so Father Moriana must find the truth about her death. You see, the locals talk about vampires, and the Church can't accept the existence of such creature. The narrative is very good but unfortunatly that's the sole quality of the game. Dracula 3 is not as visually impressive as its big brothers (even at the time of its original release) making it a less atmospheric game. Also, the puzzles are not always that clever. It's an average adventure game that will occupy you for about ten hours. No big surprise or excellent feature, it's just an interesting story.
