Game description

An explosive homage to SNES-era platformers mixed with a modern physics-puzzle twist, Explodemon is non-stop action mayhem like you've never seen before. Players use Explodemon's self-destructive nature to combat enemies and fly through the air, all the while solving a huge variety of physics-based puzzles (and, naturally, causing incalculable collateral damage).

When the peaceful planet of Nibia is attacked by the malicious Vortex forces, the fate of the star system is thrust into the one pair of hands it shouldn't be: the malfunctioning Guardian robot Explodemon.

Featuring 12 huge levels of pulse-pounding platforming, a deep control system, devastatingly up-close-and-personal combat, upgradable special abilities, comic-book style cutscenes and a story that'll make you giggle, cry, or simply sigh with indifference, Explodemon isn't your average game. No way. It's above average, at least. No, wait - so way above average that it's pure awesome. That's more like it.

Explodemon! is unrelenting, hard-core brain-tickling action for those who grew up playing platformers, as well as those who'll discover just how awesome they were.

Key Features:

  • Explore 12 gigantic levels of intense platforming action set across three diverse worlds!

  • Adapt to a constantly changing gameplay experience with new skills and hazards aplenty!

  • Evolve Explodemon into your own personal destruction machine with upgradable skills and parameters!

  • Solve huge range of puzzles that'll see you using Explodemon's abilities and his enemies' characteristics to their full effect!

  • Uncover countless collectables that'll require a keen eye and fast reflexes to uncover!

  • Enjoy a comic story told with suitable aplomb and panache!

A game with old mechanics but changing new things.

This game combines two of my longtime favorite games, Sonic and MegaMan that's why it attracted me a lot, in its moment has its touch when you test it and you played Sonic and Megaman you will remember so many things of those games that can give you Nostalgia like to my, I recommend that everyone who likes this type of games buy it besides that is on offer and a great offer on this page GreenManGaming for that incredible price.

some snes era awesomeness

This game is like a mix between sonic, and mega-man, two of my favorite games rowing up. The graphics are nice and smooth and the levelling up ability is a nice touch to some classic platforming goodness. The levels get harder and harder as you play along, and the basic platforming gameplay is mixed with some mind bending puzzles as well. Although he graphics look nice, the controls for me felt a little weird. soft almost, with very feeling of response. it could have very well have been me because i don't really care for the sonic style of movement in the first place, but it was fine enough to muscle past to get the game finished. that's the other thing, this game can feel a little short. Only 12 levels and even if you take your time, you can easily push through the game in no time. User created levels could have been a nice add-on to make re-play a little more fun.
