Hakuoki has been getting updated versions for some time now with games being translated into English for the PSP, Vita, 3DS, PS3, and PC, it can be difficult to tell what each version has but they all tell the same story with newer versions typically getting some new CGs and extra content to the same story. Kyoto Winds allows you to romance three characters that you previously couldn't while also adding three new characters, while the story that gets you into the situation is the same taking the new romance paths will lead to different and new story paths. The setting and story are good, and each romance has multiple endings, though the different ends won't change much during the actual path once that character is chosen. The only real problem with the game is that some of the content will obviously not be new for people that have played the other versions of the game and that this only contains half the story which has been finished in other versions, with the new romance paths that doesn't exactly mean you will see a lot less content but to finish the story, even for paths you might have already seen in previous games, you will need to buy the next part. The Deluxe Bundle includes some nice extras such as the soundtrack, event scenes, and character artwork that longer fans of the series might enjoy having, if they don't already own much of it from previous game editions, but it doesn't cost much more to get the complete version of the game with the DLC. If you are interested in the OST and artwork it would likely be more worth it for you to buy the Complete Deluxe Set that includes the game, DLC, and this. If you aren't interested in the music and art it would be best to buy the game alone and the DLC by itself.
