The Hidden & Dangerous Bundle includes:
• Hidden & Dangerous: Action Pack
• Hidden & Dangerous 2: Courage Under Fire
The Hidden & Dangerous Bundle includes the first game with its expansion and its sequel. Hidden & Dangerous Action Pack has the base game as well as additional missions. It was an interesting game for its time, allowing you to choose and use a squad of characters in a WWII shooter, switch between them, and make use of their different skills in a variety of missions. The problem is the actual shooting itself was never a strong point, nor was the game's AI, some glitches also take away from the experience. Playing it now would likely be more for nostalgia or curiosity as there are going to be games that offer a stronger squad based tactics and ones with stronger gunplay. Hidden & Dangerous 2 Courage Under Fire is a squad based FPS (though you can change the few to third) set during WWII. You will take on missions in a variety of different areas and are able to choose squad members to join you and what equipment you will take before setting out. As you complete levels with your squad members their abilities will increase, such as their shooting, health, healing, stealth, etc. The missions can give you a good variety of objectives and, although there are some very linear maps, a few of the missions give you multiple paths to take and ways to plan out your attack and squad movements. Where the game doesn't hold up as well is the poor enemy AI, the fairly weak shooting (though death animations are helped with some ragdoll physics), and your inconsistent allied AI that can see them calling out and taking out targets with ease or just ignoring enemies right next to them, how quickly you and your allies can die can make this frustrating. While your allies have a stealth skill it is typically more easy to just kill all of your enemies, even more so when some missions will alert your enemies to your presence anyway. Leading a group of WWII commandos might be a fun idea but the AI, shooting mechanics, and level design frequently hold it back too much in modern times.
