Earth is Ours No More
Horizon Zero Dawn™ is an exhilarating new open-world action role playing game exclusively for the PlayStation 4 System, developed by the award winning Guerrilla Games, creators of PlayStation’s venerated Killzone franchise.
Take on the role of skilled hunter Aloy as you explore a vibrant and lush world inhabited by mysterious mechanized creatures.
Embark on a compelling, emotional journey and unravel mysteries of tribal societies, ancient artifacts and advanced technologies that will determine the fate of this planet, and of life itself.
This game does some rather amazing things. It creates a believable world full of wonder, mystery, and immense beauty. It has characters that draw you in and make you love them, and some that make you hate them. The score and the open world around you will have you just standing there rotating the camera, eyes wide with wonder. Crafting is fun and encourages exploration in the hopes of finding more and new materials. The combat system is smooth and fun and easy to learn yet difficult to master. Horizon Zero Dawn will give you hours upon hours of laughs, tears, and pulse-pounding action. It does not disappoint.
I thoroughly enjoyed everything about this game, but it specifically had such enjoyable combat and the best console graphics ever. It takes everything good from open-world action-adventures like Tomb Raider, Far Cry, Assassin's Creed, Shadow of Mordor, and many others - and none of the bad. It is the pinnacle of this incredibly fun and popular genre. A true exclusive (not timed or on PC), and an absolute system seller.
The graphics are stunning. This is the best looking open world game on the market. The story is engaging and has a great mix of human drama, world-building and mystery, The gameplay is solid. I enjoyed the hunting and crafting. Exploration was cool too. It does get kind of repetitive at times and it does carry over many mechanics from other open world games. I enjoyed it though.
