The complete pack you must buy.

LA Noire The Complete Edition is the best version to get if you are planning to play Rockstars gem. Apart from the vanilla version which is already an amazing experience, you will get cool DLC for the game. I particularly advise trying The Badge Pursuit Challenge which is a lot of fun and for a change requires you to earn a reward instead of standard getting if after the DLC purchase. Must have.

L.A Noire

Positives: + A very cool and well thought-out detective thriller set in 1940's California, U.S.A. Playing as Coles Phelps you investigate homicides, thefts, drug trafficking and fraud, identifying crime scene clues and speaking to witnesses to gather evidence. + A really nice feature of this game is the facial expressions used by characters. A lot of effort was put into this by the developers. After carefully observing how a person of interest behaves or talks, you can doubt what they are saying, judge whether they are lying, or believe them. If you're successful, you'll squeeze more information out of them leading to additional avenues in the case. This is good because it rewards the player for engaging in the game and playing it properly. + Nice shootouts with several different types of weapons, although confrontations aren't that frequent. Use tommy guns, pistols or shotguns to take down foes. There's 40 street crimes to complete separate from cases. + An intriguing storyline of crime, love and flashbacks of Cole Phelps life in the Marines during World War II. The ending is one you won't really expect. Really enjoyed it. + Around 40-50 hours of gameplay with all DLC, trying to do your best on every case. + Graphics are decent. Negatives: - The graphical quality of the game world could be improved. As it stands it still looks fine, but stunning visuals really do add to immersion. It's hard to fault L.A Noire. This game kept me entertained and had lots of playtime available, the DLC adds some epic firefights and the story was great. Definitely recommended.

L.A. Noire: A unique experience

when it comes to originality you have to give to Rockstar games as they have definitely created a masterpiece. This game is very enjoyable as it puts you in the shoes of a new detective called Cole Phelps who tries to solve as many cases as he can and make this world a better place. through this game you will be interrogating witnesses, searching for clues, shooting bad guys and putting criminals away and keep in mind that you can put the wrong guy away so you don't always make the right decision. the story telling and the voice acting makes you think you're in a 1940s movie. the game is very very VERY enjoyable and it's an experience you'll never find in another game so if you haven't bought this game yet you're missing out greatly as this game is unlike anything you've seen before.

Very good detective game

LA. Noire is a game produced by Team Bondi and published by Rockstar Games. Cole Phelps - who turns out to be a detective after the case is solved. We will be able to solve a huge number of investigations, from murder to drug crime, in beautiful Los Angeles in the 1940s. Waiting for us interrogations, in which interrogators have realistically rendered facial expressions with motion capture. The game is quite long, took me about 40 hours including side tasks. In general, the realities of the 40s of the twentieth century have been perfectly reproduced, as we have the opportunity to hear a number of musical pieces from those years and to observe the behavior of the American people after the Second World War.

Solid Game

This is another title by rockstar but vastly different from their other works like GTA. In this game, you play as detective Cole Philips of the LAPD as he rises through the different departments of the force. This game uses facial motion capture to provide an authentic experience as you question suspects and witnesses. The gun play in the game is a bit disappointing compared to their other titles such as GTA but still good. The driving is fun and so are the cases but the buildup of the story is slow and may be off putting for some. Overall the game is very good and effictvely executed. If you're into the more GTA style of game this game may not be for you but if you want a truly different Rockstar experience I would whole heartly recomended this game.
