They fought for Freedom... They fought for each other.
Vietnam, 1965. You are Dean Shepard, a "cherry" to the 'Nam with zero war experience other than standard boot camp training at Parris Island, SC. Along with your platoon, you will fight the NVA and the Vietcong in true historic locales and battles such as Khe Sahn and the Tet Offensive, transporting you to a time and place American history that only a few can say they experienced firsthand.
Men of Valor is an FPS that was originally released on the Xbox and PC in 2004 by the same team that created Medal of Honor Allied Assault and the gameplay feel very similar to those games. You are given a bit wider open areas to move around in but gameplay wise there isn't much of a difference between the series. Some of the mission openings and the dialogue between soldiers do a good job but some poor audio quality and animations hurt the experience. Fighting with soldiers at your side talking to each other is nice but the game has poor AI where allied soldiers will randomly fire at nothing while ignoring enemies right next to them. The game has unskippable cutscenes and sound direction, animation, and gameplay that feels behind some of of the better games to release around the time. The game was decent for its time but age hasn't helped it any, except for the low price.
