After years of tireless explorations, brave Vikings have discovered a new land filled with mystery, danger and riches: Northgard.
The boldest Northmen have set sail to explore and conquer these new shores, bring fame to their Clan and write history through conquest, trading, or devotion to the Gods.
That is, if they can survive the dire wolves and undead warriors roaming the land, befriend or defeat the giants, and survive the harshest winters ever witnessed in the North.

The curse of early access might cloud over this game, but once it's released it will be a game worth more than its price. The seasons cycle around Summer and Winter with the typical "Gather during the summer" and "Survive during the winter". The graphics are pretty clean and easy on the eye and overall the gameplay is very fluid. As many others I am currently waiting for the release.
Northgard is currently in early access, but it shows a lot of promise even at such an early stage. Gameplay is fun and beyond that, the graphics are so beautifully rendered. I'm looking forward to see their progress.
For an early access game it's fairly good, it's enjoyable, the multi-player is stable, but for everyone who's planning on buying it, don't expect a full game! At its current state it's not worth the price tag, but it is an early access after all. I am asuming the developer are still adding A TON of new features and game mechanics and continue to improve the game. Personally, I am expecting this game not to be done till 2018. The game shows a lot of promise, and soon I'll be playing this game a lot more, and I'll either post my feedback here, or on reddit or somewhere in the discussion. I would recommend this game, but then again. I will make sure to tell them its current state. Hope the game will continue to grow into something amazing.
If you think you can win in this game by mustering a large warband and swarming your opponents as soon as you see the window of opportunity, I have some bad news for you. Northgard is more static than it seems at first glance. You need to turtle not Zerg Rush the other clans which might not even offer a stiff resistance if you learn to properly defend before trying to attack them. Trade shall offer you both the ample supply of goods to survive and prosper, so long as you focus on the resource gathering closer to your Town Hall (the HQ, if you will).
Really good & fun game, but is still in early access, so it's quite unfinished. Anyone who is not sure to try this game should wait a little. The campaign lacks content, as well as the multiplayer mode. All in all, the game currently feels like a demo of The Settlers for which you pay almost ?20. Pros: + Summer/ Winter cycle with realistic production crises + Conquer small areas + Nice graphics, fresh and colorful Cons: - Not much that you can build - You can upgrade every building twice, where the quality of the roofs changes only minimally. It is like Age of Empires with only one upgrade (feels like a demo/ in this case "Early Access") - the map is very small The game looks really promising, but I suggest you buy it later when it has more to offer.
