You love RPGs but you don’t care about dialogues and scenary? QuestRun is for you! Run through various dungeons in this tactical fast-paced game, try to go as far as you can with your heroes, die in agony and try again! Try new strategies, new heroes, choose new perils, and die anyway! Discuss your unfair death with your friends or complain on a forum!
RPG, action, tactics, pick the one that seems most appropriate! QuestRun brings a twist to the old RPG battle system. Heroes and monsters attack each other automatically. But still, you will always be busy: choosing which hero will face which monster, choosing which item belongs to whom, picking the right skill... There's always something to do!
Your main tool to beat the game. You are given a random 3 at the beginning of each dungeon with each one having its own characteristics. Some of them are strong, others have useful powers, some of them are lucky !
You will regularly have to choose between two perils. Hint - they all are nasty, pick the one that looks less horrible !
Pets in QuestRun share a passion: items. Simply drop an item on one of them and it will give you its bonus: life, weapon, potion...
4 Main dungeons
8 Side Quests

Have you ever played an RPG and wished you could just remove the fun from the game, questRun is for you. Each character has one skill, you have a maximum of four unequipped items at one time, combat is automatic, there are waves and waves of the same enemies until you've fought enough peasants to call it a "quest" (at which point the use of the word is still debatable). All this, and no redeeming qualities! Honestly, the only reason this game doesn't get a lower rating is because Xbox Live Indie Games make up the <30 section.
This game is honestly terrible. I tried my hardest to enjoy it but i really couldn't! It has no main plot and i really feel like i am playing a free to play mobile game. Luckily, i got the game when it was $0.39 and in my opinion, that is really all it is worth. it doesn't give you any clear instructions of how to play the game which i found to be really frustrating as i had no idea what i was doing. Overall, a pretty bad game, not worth anymore that $0.50.
You have three heroes with equipment trying to beat wave after wave of enemies. The battle is turn-based and works kind of like in the old Final Fantasy games and the like. You can get better weapons, armor etc. The game feels very hard, to me at least. I could only beat a few waves before dying, no matter what I did. The enemies just get too tough, I guess? There is hardly any help available, or a comprehensive tutorial to speak of. There is a lot of potential, though, since the game is a kind of roguelike. It would need a bit more polish to attain the same amount of addiction as the more successful roguelike games. This game is best played with a friend who also has the game and compete who survives the longest. As a single player experience it is not enough to keep me occupied. Lastly, the game looks and sounds technically great. I love the aesthetics of the characters, the menus and the backgrounds, the overall cartoony looks. Very nice "Torchlight/Kingdom Rush" style.
its the kind of randomized game pick a cave random crew of 3 heroes that you use to fight hordes of enemies well not hordes but that made it more exciting more like waves of enemies level up on the go random bonuses or curses ease or harden the challenge when you're down to your hero but still fighting to the end that makes it all worth it must own for rpg fans looking for a quick adventure
This game is like a never ending old school rpg fight... with lots on enemies and lots of drama and death... It can be messy... specially because is a random generated game... The good: +Challenging +All the battles are different. +Highly rewarding. +Most of the spells are useful. +Rougelike style. The bad: -It needs more polishing -More pc tweaks options, this game feels like a mobile game. -This game do not hold your hand at all... and the tutorial sucks -Sometimes is just cheap. I don't know who can enjoy this game, is not bad, but not good, is fun, but frustrating... if you find it in a bundle or on a sale, and you like rougelikes and oldschool rpgs, this game MAYBE is for you.
