New controls using the Nintendo 3DS system's technologies
The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D retains the analogue control of the original, using the Circle Pad on Nintendo 3DS, but greatly improves ease of use with a touch-based inventory system. Switching items has never been simpler or quicker.
The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D is a great game - it offers dozens or dozens of hours of fun, but this type of game you need to like to get into it at all. It's a little like a good platformer but in a third-dimension. As always it offers a big open world but on the other hand game is pretty linear. The sad thing is that Ocarina of Time is one of the first 3D games and the presentation will be lacking at this point. Nevertheless, it's very fun experience.
So, many of us old gamers though Ocarina of Time couldn't be better, like there is no way. And as always, Nintendo came in to prove gamers wrong, because while it is remastered classic Ocarina of Time from Nintendo 64, it has much improved graphics, which don't feel dated like original feels nowadays, especially on new TVs. Music is as good as it was and controls feel much better. I will be honest, I was not a fan of N64 controller. Most of the changes are for the better, like Sheikah Stones giving you hints about what to do or where to go, which is extremely helpful when you will put the game down for longer period (which was always a flaw with Zelda games, because you had to remember everything and sometimes life gets in the way of gamer and you must put a game down for months or year, so there is no way to remember what to do). Only things that are worse is shooting by tilting 3DS, which is thankfully optional, and getting rid of blood in the Well and Ganon. Other than that, greatest game of all time is even greater. If N64 graphics turned you off about this game, pick this one instead, you won't regret it. If you're a fan of Zelda, you probably already own it. If you have doubts, don't, just buy it and love it!
