I was hoping I'd enjoy this game, but I found it too confusing. See, the game doesn't use words to communicate what the player needs to do, it uses pictures. Badly drawn, small pictures that I just couldn't figure out. I don't mind a game that doesn't hand-hold, but SOME indication of what the pictures actually mean would've been great.
Rivers Of Alice used to be a mobile game and now it's on steam ,I played it on my Galaxy S2 when i had it and it was cool for a mobile game, what's cool about it is that it gave me a retro feel for some reason , the story isn't complicated , Alice is having dreams and she has a pendant that is broken into 4 Dragon flies and you need to retrieve your pendant pieces by solving puzzles, what's different from recent point and click games is that there is no tutorial to show you , but there is a character called Sloth that gives you hints ,only problem is the hints he gives you giveaway the whole puzzle and ruins the game so i didn't talk to him unless I was absolutely desperate , the puzzles themselves are quite fun and make you scratch your head. the art style in the game is unique and stands out all done by hand and it looks amazing , music is soothing and does a great job of setting the atmosphere , it is very cheap and if you haven't played it on your mobile device it's time to get it on your PC, but make sure you don't take any hints from Sloth unless you're about to give up on a puzzle.
