Knight's Chase (or Time Gate: Knight's Chase, whichever you prefer) was a game from the creators of Alone in the Dark games. It's actually pretty good mix of action and puzzle game, with pretty nice plot and decent sword fighting, and the soundtrack is actually fitting. The only problem with the game really is the fact it is pretty much carbon copy of Alone in the Dark, which wouldn't be so bad, if it wasn't for the problems they didn't fix from AitD series, like at times awkward controls and horrendous camera angles. Game itself is not bad, and if you can look over those flaws, it's actually a gem that many buried and ignored back in the day. If you miss Alone in the Dark or want to play the game in the vain of it, go buy it now, you won't be disappointed.
the original Time Gate: Knight's Chase was not such a great game itself in my opinion back in those days, and now Time Gate: Knight's Chase remastered version is something that i really don't know what to say about it! The old game had great potential but couldn't manage to deliver, I think the remake version of it in 2018 could have at least some of those delivered and offer a greater experience for the players. The gameplay is a typical puzzle adventure and although at first it might seem interesting, but sadly after a while it loses its charm and becomes tedious and repetitive sadly! So if you can bear with such things and if you are maybe into these old school adventures, I guess you might wanna try it on a sale or in a bundle, but I don't think it really is a good idea to play it if you have played old game!
