Build the largest city in the Caribbean on an island with constant influx of immigrants. Deal with problems such as unemployment, over-population and food shortages. Use the Conventillo, a cheap residential building that houses many residents using little space. Wear an old-fashioned suit with a monocle, mayoral necklace and use the bureaucrat trait for cheaper residential buildings and more profits from the “building permit” edict.
Tropico 4 is undoubtedly the best city building simulator ever made, certainly in my opinion. The core game is absolutely incredible and it offers up brilliant missions, graphics and tons of varied buildings and other areas of land to tinker with to your liking. Whilst the core campaign is nice and long this DLC adds some more much needed missions to the game and really helps to flesh out the stellar experience you can have when you are playing Tropico 4 correctly. The DLC has some great dialogue too and it is incredibly funny to hear the banter between your advisers. This is a great DLC for any tropico fan!!!
Tropico 4 is a god in the temple of city building games, but DLC missions make the game that much sweeter. The premise is simple enough: You, presidente, are out to build the "greatest city in the world" and the climb is steep. While this DLC adds on fairly minimal new content (Although there is a rather astounding mayor costume for your presidente), the mission is long and entertaining enough to keep you hooked until the end. Of course, the writing is grand, and you'll find yourself laughing at the cut-scenes and dialogues between you and your advisors just as much as plopping down new state housing blocks. A definite purchase for any Tropico 4 fan.
