Uncharted was by no means the best in terms of being a first person shooter. What it did excel in, however, was its compelling storyline. The journeys of a fortune hunter crossing dangerous paths with this huge nemesis in a race to save the treasure or power that can potentially threaten the balance of the world - what is there not to like? It was and still is a genre that hasn't been fully utilized apart from perhaps Lara Croft. Nathan Drake's character was nothing short of charming and quick-witted, evident from his on-point voice acting and fast one-liners. It is with this, and with a heavy heart, that we say goodbye to that character and to the Uncharted series, at least for a while. The ending was a nice way to wrap up the lore and give Nathan Drake a rest. The platforming and puzzles were a great way to spend time with the characters and the atmosphere, and the environment is displayed in such stunning detail that it's hard to believe that one could not just reach out and embrace it. This series will be one of the sorely missed, if not for the fact that we will never be able to see adventures like these until a long while, when the dust is blown off the cover by Naughty Dogs and they give it another shot.
This game is one of the best ways the series could have ended. The visuals are breathtaking. the action is plentiful, the cast nailed it. There was just so much emersion happening. I am very satisfied and recommend this to everyone
This game offers an amazingly polished cinematic experience. If you enjoyed any of Naughty Dog's recent games then you should also have a lot of fun with this one. The gameplay is better than ever and the graphics are unparalleled on PS4. The only negative I can think of is that some of the puzzles and platforming segments feel a bit drawn out on the second playthrough.
