Like any shooter worth its salt, Deathloop is judged to an extent by the quality of weapons that you can use to lay waste to your enemies. Luckily, Deathloop has quite the eclectic selection of baddie wrecking weaponry and because we’re considerate sorts here at Green Man Gaming, we’ve got all the best Deathloop weapons for you right here. Starting with…
Fourpounder
A frankly massive handgun that boasts some serious, serious power, the Fourpounder is a literal hand-cannon that looks to fire .44 magnum calibre ammunition into the face of your foes. A special, golden version of the Fourpounder known as the ‘.44 Karat’ can be acquired if you happen to own the deluxe edition of Deathloop.
Heritage Gun
The Heritage Gun is something of a mysterious firearm. Why, I hear you say, well, rather than using standard rounds to put your enemies down, it instead fires glass bullets that explode on impact. See? Told you.
LIMP-10
The LIMP-10 is a gun that’s going to honor its namesake by putting a limp in your step. Of course, your enemies will be lucky to get away with such a light fate given that the remarkable rate of fire for this automatic pistol means that it’ll likely hit every part of their anatomy before it reaches their wheels.
Machete
As obvious as obvious gets, the Machete is a savage melee weapon that carves up the opposition with flair. If you’ve preordered the PS5 version of Deathloop, you’ll get a special variant of the Machete called the ‘Royal Protector’, which is not only a throwback to the Dishonored games, but is also seemingly fashioned out of the same material as Corvo’s mask too.
PT-6 Spiker
Don’t let its portly appearance fool you, the PT-6 Siker is a silent but violent handgun that is tailor made for inflicting death from the shadows. As well as its sizable silencer, the PT-6 Spiker also substitutes regular ammo clips for a constant feed of nails, making this weapon the world’s first silenced nailgun. Neat.
Rapier
With its elongated barrel and refined iron sights, the Rapier is a ridiculously stylish, single-barreled shotgun that is solely concerned with the evisceration of whatever happens to exist up to ten feet in front of it. Like your shotguns stylish, loud and deadly? Then the Rapier is your huckleberry.
Sepulchra Breteira
The absolute polar opposite to the Rapier, the Sepulchra Breteira is a long range sniper rifle with enough power to put a double XL hole in whatever it hits. Put simply, if you want to be doing your bad guy murdering at some remove, the Sepulchra Breteira is what you’ll be using to get the job done.
Strelak 50-50
The bigger they are, the harder they shoot – that’s clearly what the manufacturers behind the Strelak 50-50 think, as this weapon is an absolute titan of a firearm. With its double barrel setup and exceedingly large clip, the Strelak 50-50 heavy rifle is quite literally what folk mean when they say “it’s time for the big guns”. I’m sure of it.
Strelak Verso
A pair of special, military green handguns that boast an impressive fire rate, the Strelak Verso isn’t something you’ll sadly be able to enjoy on day one. Instead, the Strelak Verso is only available in the first wave of Deathloop DLC that is due to arrive after release.
Transtar Trencher
Exclusive to the PS5 deluxe version of Deathloop, the Transtar Trencher is another weapon which takes ample inspiration from Arkane’s other games. This time inspired by Prey, the Transtar Trencher is a special skinned version of the Vopat Trencher that makes a cheeky wink at the Transtar corporation from Prey, whilst also resembling the design of the technology from that game.
Tribunal
Clearly built for the discerning gunslinger with a devil may care sense of style, the Tribunal is a stylish neon-hued pistol that provides the wielder with decent accuracy and impressively deceptive stopping power. Even better still, if you preorder the deluxe version of the game, you’ll get a gold plated ‘eat the rich’ variant too.
Vopat Trencher
A brutally powerful pump action shotgun, the Vopat Trencher is a buckshot spitting nightmare that will make a dusty red mess of anything in close range. Just make sure you’re aware of its limited range though, otherwise you’ll be taking pen-knife to a spear fighting contest.
