We’re excited to share some big news from Green Man Gaming: Chris Jones has joined our leadership team as Executive Vice President of Publishing.

This appointment is part of a series of strategic leadership hires designed to strengthen our position as the world’s largest official third-party storefront (second only to Steam) and to expand the services we provide to publishers and developers, helping them reach more players around the globe.

Meet Chris Jones

Chris brings nearly 30 years of industry experience across AAA studios, indie publishers, and global franchises. He has built a reputation for supporting developers of all sizes, with expertise in external development, franchise leadership, and international publishing.

Highlights from Chris’s career include:

• poncle – Head of External Development, supporting the publishing team behind the BAFTA-winning Vampire Survivors.
• Lucid Games – Game Director and Lead Producer on several high-profile projects.
• PlayStation XDev – Part of the BAFTA award-winning external development team, collaborating on critically acclaimed titles.
• Rebellion – Nearly eight years producing games such as Call of Duty: World at War, Sniper Elite V2, and Aliens vs Predator (2010).
• Clever Beans – Senior production roles on Wipeout Omega Collection.
• Rowan Software & Strangelite (Empire Interactive) – Early career contributions on classics like Crazy Taxi and Virtua Tennis.

In his new role, Chris will lead Green Man Gaming’s publishing strategy, expand partnerships with developers worldwide, and grow our global publishing footprint.

Strengthening the Leadership Team

Chris’s arrival follows two other key senior appointments:

• Alex Cook, EVP of Commercial Acquisition: Alex is responsible for scouting, negotiating, and closing deals for new games and IP across our Store, Publishing, Distribution, and Marketing businesses. With over two decades of commercial experience at Electronic Arts, Wargaming, Jagex, and Codemasters, Alex brings deep expertise in building partnerships and delivering growth. • Paul Herron, General Manager for APAC: Paul is also spearheading our new Charity Bundles platform. He joined us from Humble Bundle, where he spent over a decade helping to shape one of the most successful charitable gaming platforms in the world. You can read more about Paul’s appointment here.
