I had the chance to discover this game on my xbox when it was released in 2006, and I now have the chance to play it again, more than 10 years later. The game hasn't really aged all that bad and still looks nice at times. However, there is a very big problem when it comes to the gameplay, and it is the police, who are very picky and can be extremely annoying at times. Overall, it makes me feel pretty nostalgic.
This game is more than just a "GTA clone" it's actually really good if you can look at it more than just that. You play in two different time periods, The "70s" and the early "2000s" It holds up pretty well and really is unique. If anything in this game is better than the GTAs of the time, it's the driving. Do yourself a favor and pick this one up.
It's a pretty basic story mode, and the mini games that are mixed in are pretty fun. You can definitely tell that this came out of a more driving oriented series though, since all the best parts are the car chases.
