Treyarch, developer of the two most-played games in Call of Duty® history, returns with Call of Duty®: Black Ops III. For the first time with three-years of development, the revered, award-winning studio has created its first title for next-gen hardware in the critically acclaimed Black Ops series. Welcome to Call of Duty: Black Ops 3, a dark, twisted future where a new breed of Black Ops soldier emerges and the lines are blurred between our own humanity and the technology we created to stay ahead, in a world where cutting-edge military robotics define warfare.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 combines three unique game modes: Campaign, Multiplayer and Zombies, providing fans with the deepest and most ambitious Call of Duty ever. The Campaign has been designed as a co-op game that can be played with up to 4 players online or as a solo cinematic thrill-ride. Multiplayer will be the franchise’s deepest, most rewarding and most engaging to date, with new ways to rank up, customize, and gear up for battle. And Zombies delivers an all-new mind-blowing experience with its own dedicated narrative. Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 can be played entirely online, and for the first time each of the offerings has its own unique player XP and progression systems. The title ushers in an unprecedented level of innovation, including jaw-dropping environments, never before experienced weaponry and abilities, and the introduction of a new, improved fluid movement system. All of this is brought to life by advanced technology custom crafted for this title, including new AI and animation systems, and graphics that redefine the standards Call of Duty fans have come to expect from the critically-acclaimed series, with cutting edge lighting systems and visual effects.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 deploys its players into a future where bio-technology has enabled a new breed of Black Ops soldier. Players are now always on and always connected to the intelligence grid and their fellow operatives during battle. In a world more divided than ever, this elite squad consists of men and women who have enhanced their combat capabilities to fight faster, stronger, and smarter. Every soldier has to make difficult decisions and visit dark places in this engaging, gritty narrative.
Treyarch elevates the Call of Duty social gaming experience by delivering a campaign with the ability to play cooperatively with up to four players online, using the same battle-tested network infrastructure and social systems that support its world-class Multiplayer and Zombies game modes. Designed for co-op and re-playability, players encounter all the epic cinematic gameplay moments Call of Duty is known for delivering as well as new open-area arena-style gameplay elements designed to allow players to approach the game with a different strategy each time they play. And now, every player is completely customizable: from weapons and loadouts, to abilities and outfits, all with full progression systems and a personalized armory to show off accomplishments, providing a constantly-evolving campaign experience.
With Black Ops 3, Treyarch premieres a new momentum-based chained-movement system, allowing players to fluidly move through the environment with finesse, using controlled thrust jumps, slides, and mantling abilities in a multitude of combinations, all while maintaining complete control over your weapon at all times. Maps are designed from the ground-up for the new movement system, allowing players to be successful with traditional movement, as well as advanced tactics and maneuvers.
Black Ops 3 multiplayer also introduces the new Specialist character system, which allows players to rank up and master each specific character’s battle-hardened capabilities and weapons. With this addition to Traditional and Weapons XP progressions systems, Black Ops 3 multiplayer gives players three different ways to rank up.
No Treyarch title would be complete without its signature Zombies offering – a full-game experience with its own distinct storyline right out of the box. Black Ops 3 Zombies is the most immersive and ambitious Call of Duty Zombies to date, with a full XP-based progression system for players that adds depth and re-playability to the engaging gameplay Zombies fans have come to expect.

This is one of the better COD's from the franchise. Treyarch has once again has done some good with it's Black Ops series. This game uses the futuristic setting for both it's gameplay and campaign. The story is decent though a little confusing, and as for the gameplay, it's pretty good. I mostly play multiplayer deathmatch and almost never have any issue. I had a few issues during it''s first month of release, but nothing big besides some after match screen glitches. The zombie mode is awesome with it's use of a story and other things such as rituals. Overall this is a solid FPS game overall with few technical issues unless your running a crappy rig.
Black Ops 3 is well another Call of Duty however it offers a great single player experience this time around offering two campaign modes. The normal story has the twists and surprises that Black Ops and Black Ops 2 had. Zombies was well zombies I am not a particular fan of the Zombies mode. Multiplayer is where problems do arise you will have 80-300 ping in PC lobbies has to do with a peer to peer connections and sloppy net code however if you can handle moderate latency it is an enjoyable experience the enhanced movement is much like Advanced Warfare and now includes wall running the specialist system makes multiplayer more sweet adding specialist specific skills like the War Machine AKA The Semi Auto Noobtube or the Flamethrower if you like your noobs well done or a bow if you prefer one shot skill shots If you prefer single player or if you like to hit the killing fields Black Ops 3 is still a good choice
Call of Duty has gone off the deep end with this one. It is ridiculous and not in a good way. The gameplay is an exact copy of COD Advanced Warfare, and now the feel of the game has gone over the top and feels almost like Halo. The sound and graphics are typical Call of Duty fare, which means neither is bad, but neither is great either. I found myself getting bored with all of the multiplayer modes after only a few hours on each. I don't recommend this game unless you are a die-hard Call of Duty fan who also has friends telling them to come play it with them.
Black Ops 3 it's the 4th game developed by Treyarch, and I gotta say they always had the best campaign experiences in the Call Of Duty franchise, this game is no exception. The gameplay is more or less the same, yeah they tried to add 'Crysis like' powers, and yeah those are fun in the beggining but you don't feel a huge sense of progression and halfway through the campaign you will be able to unlock almost all of them. What I really like about game is the story, not only has a unique way in which is told but it truly trusts the player intelligence. It tackels themes no other game dare to even consider. And while the ending twist might not be hard to understand for a single playtrough it doesn't really matter because the journey and untill there which makes you question morality, privacy and diffrent ideals it's amazingly entertaining. The sound is very good, and the voice actors did an amazing job selling the emotion of the scenes. In the end I'd like to recommend this game to anybody who is a sci-fi fan, I treid not to mention anything important about the story because I'd like the player to have the same sense of discovery and wonder I had when I played it.
Like all annually released game franchises, the games begin to become stale and gameplay begins to feel old and boring. Activision has tried to avoid this by giving the Call of Duty title to three developers on a three year release cycle. Call of Duty Black Ops 3 is the first game released by Treyarch since the fantastic Black Ops 2. But while Treyarchs last 3 outing in the franchises have been arguably the 3 best games the franchise has ever seen, Black Ops 3 is a disappointment. The first of the 3 game modes is the campaign. While the campaigns in Treyarchs other games were the best campaigns in the franchise with great moments and characters you care about, Black ops 3 more or less abandons the continuity of the previous games with the exception of two insignificant references. It attempts to explore a world in which soldiers are mechanically engineered to be super soldiers and while the themes of whether that is right or wrong and the theme of artificial intelligence of fascinating, black ops 3 never goes all the way with its exploration of its themes. Furthermore, the game lacks almost any character development so when the game does attempt to push its themes, you don't have any emotional to the characters to care about what is happening. The second mode is multiplayer. Black Ops 3 adds the ability to run around walls and use thruster packs to fly around the map giving the game more versatility than ever before. Being a COD game the game feels solid as an FPS. (I am not a person who really plays competitive multiplayer so take my opinion on that with a grain of salt.) Black ops 3's bright spot is in its zombies mode. Treyarch really put effort into the world of zombies to make it stand out from other horde like zombie games out there, or most zombie games in general. In addition, once you beat the main campaign you unlock an alternate zombies version of the campaign which is far more enjoyable than the original as its fun to play and really does a great job of incorporating the zombie modes features into the campaign. As an overall package this game does not stand up to its predecessors and feels like a disappointment but can still offer some fun to those who aren't bored of call of duty already
