Game description

Continue your journey as the legendary assassin, Daud, in Dishonored: The Brigmore Witches. Access Daud’s weapons, gadgets, allies and supernatural abilities once more, and bring his twisted narrative that began with The Knife of Dunwall to a close.

After discovering the identity and intentions of Delilah, the leader of the Brigmore Witch coven, you set out to disrupt her from completing a powerful ritual that will spell your doom. Having already been betrayed by your lieutenant, Billie Lurk, you must rely on feuding gang factions—the Dead Eels and the Hatters—to negotiate your way through previously unseen districts of Dunwall en route to Delilah’s stronghold. Regardless of the way you reach your destination, one thing is for certain – you will finally answer for your treacherous actions and fall before the mercy, or punishment, of the Royal Bodyguard and Assassin, Corvo Attano.

Key Features:

  • New Powers, Weapons and Gadgets

The mark of the Outsider empowers you with unique supernatural abilities. Quickly draw your enemies towards you and suspend them helplessly in air or use them as a human shield with ‘Pull’. Call upon the Whalers to assist in combat with ‘Summon Assassin’ and track down hidden Runes and Bone Charms with ‘Void Gaze’. To aid in your dangerous exploits your customized arsenal of weapons and gadgets will include Chokedust to daze your enemies, whale oil-powered Stun Mines to shock your targets, and a concealed Wristbow to launch sleep darts and explosive bolts.

  • Explore More of Dunwall

Make your way through Draper’s Ward and explore its streets, hazardous sewers and the two rival gangs’ home bases: the textile mills and the boat docks. Revisit the rotting Coldridge Prison, which you must infiltrate in order to free the dangerous but imprisoned leader of the Dead Eels gang. Finally, attack the gothic Brigmore Manor, where Delilah and her Brigmore Witches dwell and await your reckoning.

  • Choose Your Path

In your quest to thwart Delilah’s plans, approach each mission with your own style. Your redemption – or your turn towards darkness – depends on your skills and the decisions you make. Determine your ultimate fate as you conclude Daud’s journey in The Brigmore Witches.

  • Persistent Playthrough

Continue your journey from The Knife of Dunwall through The Brigmore Witches in the truest sense. Your power, weapon and item upgrades, Chaos level, and player actions from The Knife of Dunwall will carry over via a compatible save file option.

Satisfying addition to the original story

Dishonored: The Brigmore Witches is a great little DLC for Dishonored, and builds upon The Knife of Dunwall to provide a great addition to the original story. Somehow, Brigmore Witches stands above the previous Knife of Dunwall, while not really doing anything different from a gameplay standpoint. Something about the environments, second half of the story, and ending just make the two parts into a great DLC altogether. Gameplay is the same, and continues over from the original and the first DLC. The settings/missions are very fun, and suitably challenging for stealth players. It is surprising, in the end, how well the story of the DLC matches up and impacts the original game. While not essential, I feel that DLC is really needed to get the whole story. As a side note, one possibly disappointing element to the The Brigmore Witches is that certain parts may not match up with how you specifically played the original game, depending on your choices. The Brigmore Witches is well worth the time for fans of Dishonored, and for those that just wanted more, whether that be story or gameplay.

Great conclusion!

The problem with Dishonored was that the better you get, the more powers you have the easier the game becomes, with the Witches they are so much more powerful the challenge of the game returns once again. Then they give you even more powers and toys to defeat them. They really could have released this and the knife as a separate sequel, the story was much better and Daud has more depth than Corvo, but so long as it's out there I'm happy. Buy it now! But just make sure you get The Knife first!

Good DLC content

This DLC is yet more outstanding content for the game Dishonored which was released in the year 2012. The Brigmore Witches DLC adds more and continues the story line of the other assassin featured in Dishonored called Daud. His story started in the Knife of Dunwall and is continued and further fleshed out in this outstanding DLC. The graphics are the same as in the base game, with the steam punk art really shining and creating a great personality. The game play is the same as the core game too and this means that it is unbelievably versatile and great fun to play. Overall this is a must buy DLC for Dishonored fans

A lovely wrap up for Daud

I was pretty bummed when the Knife of Dunwall ended the way it did, but the Brigmore Witches was a lot more satisfying. The gameplay was appropriately tight and fun, with the rampant collectibles strewn throughout but not demanding their retrieval save for the perfectionists out there (A mechanic I'm not too crazy about, but it doesn't detract from the story at all) The story appropriately turns a blocking character into a major player in the background, something I'm a huge fan of. It even adds more shades to the already murky levels of intrigue going on around Emily Kaldwin. It was also nice knowing that my lack of grace in Corvo's story was appropriately repaid when I showed my lack of grace as Daud. While I'm not a huge fan of the black and white ending system, and as usual for a DLC of this price it was a bit short, it gave me a good time.

Another brilliant addition!

The Knife of Dunwall was an already very well done piece of additional content in the Dishonored world. The birgamore witches does nothing more than solidify the already fantastic story of Daud and the world of Dunwall. Definetly worth purchasing (especially if you can get Dishonored cheap) :)
