The low price is exactly what makes the game worth it

FIVE Champions of Canaan is a budget priced arena style RPG. When the game starts you create a character by choosing between five different lineages that will each give you a different stat spread and abilities, you can then choose between some cosmetic and voice options. You can then choose a starting weapon and armor with both having the usual stat or passive ability bonuses you would expect of the genre and weapons having a minimum and maximum damage value. The graphics and animations are about average for the ARPG genre. The enemy AI can vary but there is limited enemy variety. However, you have plenty of skills & abilities to make things interesting. Compared to Torchlight or the new version of Titan Quest for $20, this game is very reasonably priced.

The low price isn't enough to make the game worth it

FIVE Champions of Canaan is a budget priced arena style RPG. When the game starts you create a character by choosing between five different lineages that will each give you a different stat spread and abilities, you can then choose between some cosmetic and voice options. You can then choose a starting weapon and armor with both having the usual stat or passive ability bonuses you would expect of the genre and weapons having a minimum and maximum damage value. The graphics and animations are poor and the story is ridiculous. The enemy AI is poor, there is limited enemy variety, and you don't have enough skills or abilities to make things interesting. When you can pick up Torchlight or the new version of Titan Quest for a low price or can play Path of Exile for free this game just isn't worth even its low price.
