Marco Polo is for the most part a trading game - you buy cheap to sell for reaches. This game has barely any graphics to talk about, because it's all about the menus and sadly, nowadays, the game looks incredibly crammed and feels unintuitive. When there are graphics in this game, it's glorious FMV and if you lived back in the 90s and played the games, you might expect something hammy or campy like Night Trap, but in reality all parts are decently played and voice-over is not bad at all. The only thing that holds down this game is that it's old - FMV are pretty bad quality by todays standard and when you have games like Patrician or Port Royale, why would you want to play it, other than nostalgia? Not a bad game, but sadly it didn't get any upgrade to make it age gracefuly.
