Low tier bin game

Dave24

Play with Gilbert is a "sandbox" platformer game about searching for other cats. Graphics are extremely simplistic (to the point of being downright ugly), but get the job done, although sound is really annoying, especially high-pitched cat noise. Animations are complete wood and physics are pretty non-existent. You walk, you jump, you search for cats through 4 stages connected or blended into one whole arena. That's it. The game has barely any content and the only downside of it is that it is cash-grab made for kids, but in my opinion "kids game" doesn't and never should explain low quality of the game. However, the thing that is worth mentioning and praise are quality of life things, like timer, so you can set how long your child will play. Overall, the game is safe for kids, but it is really low quality and there is not much entertainment to be had either for you or your child. If you want good safe platformer, you pop-in Mario or any of the indies. Simple game, but you should ask yourself if you want your child to waste time on sub-par experience rather than give him best game you can afford. 5/10
