Game description

“Putt-Putt® Joins the Parade is one of Humongous Entertainment's earliest games starring that talking car and his adventures.” 80 – All Game Guide

What does it take to be in a parade?

Hard work, a bright shiny chassis and a little help from your friends. That's what Putt-Putt® discovers as he gears up to join the annual Cartown Pet Parade. Children will be delighted as they meet the local carfolk, explore a toy shop, tool down the road and more. Along the way, they learn to think ahead, deal with unexpected problems, and give others a hand. The road to discovery has never been more fun - or more educational. Charming talking characters, lively sound effects and lifelike animation keep your child focused on the adventure.

Nostalgia

A classic from my childhood. This game was fantastic for its time, and replaying it gave me some old sensations I felt lost. No, I won't say you've got to hurry up and buy it for yourselves, but if you have kids and feel like showing them what a videogame could be, then go ahead and do it before he starts complaining about the graphics. This first game of the series features Putt-Putt and Pep for the first time, showing how they met. I now I'm invaded by nostalgia but this was an epic moment for me (no, I'm not joking). Gameplay is quite basic, as it should be for a kid. It's an adventure game featuring point and click procedure with some basic puzzles featuring the kind of story its players demand.
