The new Overwatch comic has landed, called ‘Reflections’. Overwatch has never been short of diverse, incredible and likeable characters, making the game extremely relatable and this new comic book so fun and interesting.
Reflections went live on the game’s website today, focussing on heroine Tracer and telling a lovely, warm and very Christmassy story about the cast to get everyone into the spirit.
Tracer is one of the most visible characters through Blizzards communications, featuring on the game’s cover, appearing in the trailer and being one of the most popular heroes. It only makes sense that she takes centre stage in the first comic.
Overwatch writer Michael Chu has commented on the diversity in the comic saying, “What we were really excited about in this comic is we don’t often get a chance to see the personal lives of the characters,” Chu said, “I think when we were talking about what a holiday comic could be, we thought this was a really great opportunity to see those characters away from the battlefield and see their friends, families and loved-ones. Just see them in a slightly different setting.”
Overwatch have also launched a Christmas DLC, carrying through their Christmas theme, which you can play for free now on PC, Xbox One and PS4.
