Injustice 2 Gets A Release Date

Injustice 2

It was revealed by Director Ed Boon that Injustice 2, the sequel to NetherRealm’s smash hit superhero beat ’em up Injustice: God’s Among Us will be launching on May 16 2017.

Boon tweeted out the date from his own personal twitter account.

This date was then later confirmed by the NetherRealm Studios official Twitter account, they also confirmed that the date applies to America only at this time.

Injustice 2 was first seen in June 2016, when a promo poster was leaked online. A trailer then later debuted at E3 2016 confirming the leak. A gameplay trailer was later released the same week which showed off characters such as Super Girl and Atrocitus.

It was confirmed in August that both Harley Quinn and Deadshot will be appearing in the game. It was no surprise that Harley would be in the roster as she has was a fan favourite in the last game. The announcement also coincided with Harley’s big screen debut in Suicide squad, so it was to no one surprise that she would be making a comeback in Injustice 2. You can see the Harley and Dead shot announcement trailer below.

Injustice 2 will be releasing May 16 in America for PlayStation 4 and Xbox one.
