Bioshock creator Ken Levine, has revealed his new studio is named Ghost Story. It will be based in Boston and staffed by former members of Bioshock developer, Irrational Games.
After Irrational Games closed in 2014, Ghost Story formed a few years back, where Levine has been working on the next big project.
Although there hasn’t been any announcements of the game they’ve been working on, Ghost Story’s official FAQ section describes the project as a “new immersive sci-fi game with RPG elements, which is still in the early stages of production”.
Ghost Story have described the new studios as being “Founded by twelve former Irrational Games developers, our mission is simple: to create immersive, story-driven games for people who love games that ask something of them. While we believe our new games will have strong appeal to fans of BioShock, our new focus allows us to craft experiences where the gameplay is as challenging as the stories.”
Ken Levine is due to give the keynote speech at EGX Rezzed in a few weeks time, so hopefully more will be announced then.
