During last night reveal of Call Of Duty: WW2, the first details for the games multiplayer were revealed. Including information on the online social space.
The multiplayer lobby which has been called Headquarters, is a space for players to socialise and will feature “recognition and awards.” Fans and the press have been comparing Headquarters to the Tower, the social lobby that features in Destiny.
No further information has been released into what exactly the awards and recognition will feature. Sledgehammer have confirmed it will be releasing more Call Of Duty WW2 information at E3 in June so we may get more information on what the awards specifically are then.
Multiplayer will also introduce a new ‘War Mode’ which will put players in “iconic World War II battles”, this mode will feature objective-focused, Axis-versus-Allies team gameplay. War Mode will also let players choose class-like Divisions “including Infantry and Armored Divisions.”
