Yesterday it was announced that Destiny 2, which is coming to PC after consoles, will use Activision Blizzard’s Blizzard Desktop App, Battle.net, and not Steam to buy and support the game. This means that Destiny 2 players will have access to Blizzard’s installer, chat system and the ability to see what friends are online playing Blizzard games and now Destiny 2.

Although the release date for the PC version has not been announced, it will come after the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 release which is set for September 8th of this year.

Destiny 2 will support multiple PC graphical options, including 4K resolutions, uncapped frame rates, custom key mapping, adjustable FoV, and 21:9 monitor support.
