PlatinumGames Teases New IP

The studio behind Bayonetta and NieR: Automata, PlatinumGames has teased that it is in the early stages of development for a brand new IP.

Initially reported by DualShockers, PlatinumGames producer Atsushi Inaba stated during a keynote presentation at BitSummit in Japan that the PlatinumGames is working on a “formless, shapeless IP,”. He could not disclose any details about the game at the time however. He did confirm that the game will be directed by someone new.

At BitSummit last year PlatinumGames did mention that they were thinking about making a new IP. As there has been no official announcement about the game yet plans could still change.
