Take-Two Pulls Two GTA Online Mods


Take-Two Interactive has asked that two more Grand Theft Auto mods be withdrawn. This is after the the company sent a cease and desist to the developers of the modding software OpenIV.

Rockstar informed GamesIndustry.biz that the Force Hax cheat menu is no longer available. Following this both the mods Facebook and Twitter profiles have been deactivated and the official Force Hax has been changed to only feature an apology message, the message can be seen below.

“After discussions with Take-Two Interactive, effective immediately we are ceasing all maintenance, development and distribution of the Force Hax cheat menu services. We will be donating all proceeds to charity and we apologize for any and all problems Force Hax services have caused to the Grand Theft Auto Online community.”

PC gamer have reported that Menyoo, a GTA Online cheat menu has also been closed after Take-Two’s legal team got in contact with Menyoo’s developers. The official Menyoo website has also posted a message of apology, and has stated that the charity in which they will be donating all of their revenue to was “designated by Take-Two.”
