Titanfall 2 will be getting a four player online co-op mode called Frontier Defense, in its next free update.
It’s a horde style mode which was included as a DLC in the first game. The team of four players must defend a machine known as a Harvester from five waves of increasingly challenging enemies. The kills will give you cash that you can spend on tools between waves and completion of sessions will earn you titan upgrades.
There will be five difficulty settings available, including Easy, Regular, Hard, Master and Insane. Frontier Defense will be available on five maps including Homestead, Forwardbase, Kodai, War Games, Blackwater Canal and Rise.
The update will be released for free on 25th July on PlayStation 4, Windows PC and Xbox One. The next weekend on 28th July through to 30th July, will include a free trial of Titanfall 2, where players will be able to check out the story mission and have free access to multiplayer.
