Final Fantasy 15’s Multiplayer Closed Beta Now Available To Download

Final Fantasy 15’s Comrades expansion closed beta starts on the 3rd August, however players are able to install the beta now for PlayStation Plus and Xbox Live Gold subscribers.

Announced last week the Comrades DLC is a cooperative multiplayer mode for Final Fantasy 15. Players are able to create their own avatar and complete quests with up to three other players.

The full version of the expansion promises a wide variety of new weapons, sigils, quests, attack patterns and much more. There will only be a small sample of what will be available during the closed beta however. More information about the beta contents can be found on the Final Fantasy 15 official website.

The closed beta will run from the 3rd August until the 8th August and will only be available to players who have purchased the season pass, and have either PS Plus or Xbox Live Gold. There has been no official release date for the full expansion but Square Enix have stated that more information will be “forthcoming”. The publisher has also confirmed that there will be an option to play Noctis, Gladio, Promto and Ignis in the Comrades expansion.
