Nintendo Direct News Summary Includes Wolfenstein II On Switch


Nintendo streamed a 45 minute Nintendo Direct announcing a Mario Odyssey Switch bundle, which includes the game and a pair of red Joycons and a Mario Odyssey-themed Switch carrying case.

Xenoblade Chronicles 2 has a release date, coming to Nintendo Switch in the West on 1st December.

Skyrim will be coming to Switch on 17th November. Two more Bethesda games were also announced for the Switch, including Doom and Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus, Doom will arrive in the holidays and Wolfenstein II sometime in 2018.

Kirby has a new game on the Switch, called Kirby Star Allies and the 3DS Kirby Battle Royale release date was announced as 19th January 2018.

Nintendo also announced a Pokemon-themed new Nintendo 2DS XL, the colour and theme will resemble a Pokeball and will release on 3rd November.

A demo for the upcoming exclusive Nintendo Switch RPG, Project Octopath Traveller is now available in the eShop.

Mario Party: The Top 100 for 3DS was announced, showcasing mini-games from past Mario Parties.

Minecraft is now available on 3DS for the first time, as well as a download on the eShop, a physical edition has been announced for later this year.

Nintendo also revealed a new MOBA on Switch called Tencent’s Arena of Valor, the game, which previously launched on mobile, has 35 heroes and a number of different modes. A free beta is coming to Switch, with no date announced as yet.
