Psyonix has announced that Rocket League will be getting new features as part of the Autumn update and Rocket League’s season six.
The developers announced new Party and Tournament LAN modes will be coming after the Autumn update, which will allow PC players to organise competitions within the game’s client. Psyonix has also announced 90 new game items, a limited time Arena map and the Decryptor, which is an item players can use to open crates without using a key. These changes will come after the Autumn update.
The Autumn update will include transparent goalposts, which will allow players to see through the walls of the goal if they are inside it.
Two of the game’s maps, Starbase ARC and Wasteland will be converted to normal pitch dimensions when the new season begins.
The Autumn update will bring to an end the current competitive season, players will need to complete a set of ten placement matches per Playlist.
