Faliszek left Valve in May stating it was “nothing exciting or drama filled”. The writer is best known for his help in penning the stories for Half-Life 2’s Episode one and two expansions as well as the stories for both Portal games. He has also helped write Left 4 Dead and Counter Strike: Global Offensive.
In a statement, the writer clarified that he will still be based in Seattle stating that it’s “not rainy enough in London”. He went onto say that he will be directing “an unannounced PC action co-op game trying to do something new in the narrative space using AI.”
