age of empires IV

Originally set to release this Thursday 19th October, Age of Empires: Definitive Edition has been delayed until ‘early 2018’ by publisher Microsoft, citing that the game needs more time in development.

To that end, a new open beta will begin from now until launch to improve the game before it releases. You can sign up to the beta here.

Definitive editions for Age of Empires 2 and 3 are in development, as well as Age of Empires 4, which is being developed by RTS veteran studio Relic Entertainment.
