Capcom’s Latest Financial Results show Strong Revenue Driven by Digital Content


Japanese gaming giant, Capcom Co., Ltd. released their financial results for the six months ended September 30, 2017 today. The company reported that net sales was up 17.6% Year-on-Year (33.7 million yen) and operating income increased 191.5% Year-on-Year (5,001 million yen).

Capcom’s core Digital Contents business drove revenue in the last six months, with the release of Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite and Monster Hunter XX (Double Cross) for Nintendo Switch.

Resident Evil 7 biohazard, released in the previous fiscal year, was highlighted in the report as surpassing 4 million units shipped.
