The second chunk of downloadable content for Middle-earth: Shadow of War – the Outlaw Tribe Nemesis Expansion – is now available for owners of the popular JRR Tolkien-inspired action-RPG to download. Check out the trailer:
As the name suggests, Outlaw Tribe Nemesis Expansion brings a whole new tribe – the Outlaws – to the game. The arrival of the Outlaw tribe brings a whole new fighting style and set of weapons, added missions, countless new, epic battles and a new fortress theme.
Elements which the DLC adds include Outlaw Showdowns, a set of new missions allowing players to face down Outlaw Captains. Outlaw War Bands, meanwhile, bring new Tribal War Bands quests to the game. Outlaws can also command Fortresses, bringing their unique style to those.
The expansion pack also brings a new Legendary Outlaw gear set, and the Outlaws display a behaviour called Purge, in which their Captains prowl around Mordor in groups, attacking outsiders. Players will have to defend those attacks in order to keep the Outlaws in check.
In addition, a free content update adds a new difficulty level to the game entitled Gravewalker.
For those who have not purchased Shadow of War Gold Edition or its Expansion Pass, the Outlaw Tribe Nemesis Expansion can be bought as a standalone item. The next item of DLC for Middle-earth: Shadow of War will be the Blade of Galadriel Story Expansion, due to arrive in February 2018.
